Shane works with small businesses to develop employee handbooks , advise on employee disciplinary procedures and design social responsibility policies. Shane is formally educated in both business and psychology and has done extensive research in industrial/organizational psychology. He is the author of books The Christian Manager, and Project Management & Business Psychology available on Amazon.com. He believes that God calls some people to work in business and that a successful business can glorify God. This is part of his work as a pastoral counselor. He is not licensed by a civil authority.
Shane also does conflict resolution. When a company has two or more employees that are in conflict, Shane will investigate the problem. He uses the APS, developed by the National Christian Counselors Association, to analyze the workers’ temperaments. He interviews all parties involved and provides a report. The report provides a third-party perspective and options to be consider for resolving the conflict.
A suggested donation is requested for business consulting. The suggested donation for employee handbook development is $700 – $1,000 dollars. The suggested donation for employee disciplinary consultations is $150-$250 per incident. The suggested donation for social responsibility plans is $100-$300. The suggested donation for a conflict-resolution investigation and report is $500-$800.
Shane is not a licensed psychologist. He is an ordained, pastoral counselor with over 20 years of experience working in business as a manager.
