Dr. Shane is a licensed clinical pastoral counselor by the National Christian Counselors Association and ordained as an independent minister by the National Association of Christian Ministries. He is also an ordained deacon in the Seventh-day Adventist church. Dr. Shane has over 20 years experience working in business as a manager.  He has formal education in both business and psychology and has done extensive research in industrial/organizational psychology. He does some consulting work for small businesses that do not have HR departments. This is pastoral counseling for Christian business owners. Shane is an ordained pastoral counselor and not licensed by a civil authority.

Dr. Shane has over 30 years in ministry which includes working in jails with prisoners.  He has authored several books available on Amazon.com.  Dr. Shane started Happiness Ministry on the Minnesota State University, Mankato campus in 1993.   He served as a missionary in El Salvador and Mexico for over a decade.    As a pastoral counselor, he is not licensed by a government authority rather he is ordained to the ministry.
